About Us

The physicians at Southland Sport Medicine are trained to evaluate and manage sports injuries as well as musculoskeletal (bone, joint, muscle) conditions.

They are NOT surgeons nor are they experts in treating chronic pain. Unlike many sports medicine practices, the physicians at Southland Sport Medicine are happy to assess patients who suffer from non-sport related muscle or joint pain.

They do not see patients who are involved in litigation or suffer from work-related injuries if WCB is involved.

This practice is one of the main musculoskeletal teaching practices for the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Calgary, so you may be assessed by a senior medical student or Family Medicine Resident prior to seeing one of our physicians.
